RVM – Recovery of Valuable Materials

RVM is a special-purpose company of AGH established by members of the MIT research group in collaboration with EIT Raw Materials. The mission of the company is to develop and implement technologies for the valorization of industrial waste materials, as well as to provide solutions in the field of Environmental Engineering. The company offers sorbents for the purification of gases and technological waters, as well as consulting services.

Demetrius Lab & Demetrius

Demetrius Lab is an academic laboratory company that specializes in scientific research in the field of environmental engineering. Research focuses on issues related to analyzing the composition and properties of various waste streams and the design of innovative waste management methods.

DEMETRIUS is a technology company that implements innovative solutions related to waste management. Technological solutions allow optimization of waste management and recycling processes, which contributes to sustainable development and environmental protection.

Polish Energy Group (PGE)

PGE Energia Ciepła, part of the PGE Group, is the largest producer of electricity and heat in Poland, generated through high-efficiency cogeneration processes. It holds approximately 25% of the cogeneration heat market share, owns 16 combined heat and power plants (with a thermal capacity of 6.9 GWt, electrical capacity of 2.6 GWe), and operates district heating networks spanning 700 km.
R&D Cooperation: Together wit MIT members PGE have develoepd several projects connected to the management of fly ashes resulting from coal incineration and wastewater treatment.

Czatkowice

The „Czatkowice” Limestone Quarry Ltd. belong to the TAURON Group and is an open-pit mining facility that extracts high-quality Carboniferous limestone deposits. It is located 28 km away from Krakow and 54 km from Katowice, in the Krzeszowice municipality. The limestone from the Czatkowice deposit is known for its excellent chemical and stereomechanical parameters. These are Lower Carboniferous, fine-crystalline limestones with a high content of calcium carbonate and trace amounts of heavy metals.

Certech

CERTECH was established in November 1995. Currently, Certech produces around 600 different products for sectors such as zoology, industry, mining, and construction. The product range is continuously expanding, aligning with the company’s growth, which also involves systematically saturating the market with products that meet and anticipate client needs and demands. Currently, we employ 240 people across Poland.
R&D Cooperation: MIT collaborates with Certech engineers to develop the adsorption process and the production of adsorbents on an industrial scale.

Founded in 1909, Master Builders Solutions employs approximately 1600 people who operate 35 production plants worldwide.
R&D Cooperation: Master Builders and MIT have established a cooperation aimed at conducting and developing analytical procedures for the company’s products.

BIKO-SERWIS

The company was founded in 1994, although our experience dates back much further. Initially, Biko-Service employed 30 workers who carried out welding, locksmith, and mechanical works. We have consistently developed our core business activity, which is supporting the proper functioning of heavy industry plants. Today, we are a recognizable brand, and thanks to our knowledge and skills, we can offer comprehensive services. We consistently develop our fundamental scope of operations, which involves supporting the correct functioning of heavy industry facilities.
